Your contributions to the Simons Center play an important role in helping fulfill our mission to develop interagency leaders and an interagency body of knowledge. By supporting the Simons Center, you guarantee that our outreach efforts can continue and that the Simons Center’s mission will be fulfilled. Your tax deductible contribution also helps foster and develop an interagency body of knowledge and facilitate a broader and more effective cooperation within the U.S. government.
Your contributions fund studies and research analysis, publications, symposia, and other forms of outreach, all of which have received high praise from government officials, diplomats, and educators at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and other academic institutions.
The Simons Center is a program of the Command and General Staff College Foundation, Inc. a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit educational foundation that provides resources and support to the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in the development of competent, committed leaders of character.
You may also donate from your donor advised fund.
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to the Simons Center, directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).
How does it work?
- Establish your DAF by making an irrevocable, tax deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
- Advise the investment allocation of the donated assets (any investment growth is tax free).
- Recommend grants to the charities you support, with the option of being recognized or remaining anonymous.
