This is an interview with Major Craig Whitten. Whitten served as chief of law enforcement for the civil affairs operations section of the Combined Joint Staff with Combined Joint Task Force 76 in Bagram, Afghanistan, from November 2004 through May 2005. In the interview, Whitten discusses his experiences working closely with the regional commands and the Afghan Ministry of the Interior on a broad spectrum of police issues, to include the equipping and arming of forces.
