FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (March 29, 2011) The CGSC Foundation’s Col. Arthur D. Simons Center for the Study of Interagency Cooperation is conducting its second annual CGSC Faculty Interagency Writing Competition. The deadline for the précis for papers in this year’s competition is April 15. The deadline for submitting completed papers deadline is Sept. 1.
The Simons Center cohosted with the Combined Arms Center and the U.S. Institute of Peace a symposium titled “Interagency Transitions in Iraq, Afghanistan and Beyond,” at the newly constructed headquarters of the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., Feb. 3-4.
