State, others to consult on Afghanistan

On April 20, the State Department announced it would be part of an interagency team that will take part in bilateral consultations on Afghanistan. The group will be led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Daniel Rosenblum and Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Laurel Miller.

The team will travel to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan from April 20 to April 24, to discuss recent development in Afghanistan, including the current security situation.
