The findings and recommendations of the 2000 Workshop on Building Data Systems for Monitoring and Responding to Violence Against Women, an effort coordinated by the DOJ, and researchers and practitioners from the public health and criminal justice fields. The goals of the workshop were to measure and understand the problem of violence against adolescent and adult women and to create policies to address it.
