This case study describes methods used to encourage and support multiagency cooperation. Drawing upon the experience of the U.S. Southem Command in the early 1990s, it suggests ways that can assist civilian and military leadership to integrate the skills and capabilities of the many U.S. Government agencies that operate in an overseas region.
