CGSOC virtual graduation – June 11 and 12

The international military students of the Command and General Staff Officers (CGSOC) Class of 2020 will be presented with their CGSC International Officer Badges in a ceremony with video posted on the Army University Facebook page at 6 p.m., June 11. Combined Arms Center Commander and Commandant of the Command and General Staff College Lt. Gen. James Rainey will address international badge recipients in the virtual ceremony.

During the CGSOC virtual ceremony Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy and Gen. James McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army, will address the students. The College will also recognize individual writing, leadership, and physical fitness award winners, class leaders, and the 135 students who earned the Master of Military Arts and Science Degree.

This year 1,125 students graduate from the course including 113 International Military students from 89 countries and 21 civilians from the Department of the Army and six other federal agencies.
