Call for public comments in support of CGSC accreditation
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the academic accrediting body for the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, is preparing to visit CGSC Feb. 28 – March 1 to conduct a standard periodic comprehensive evaluation. Successful completion of this evaluation is required in order for the College to keep its accreditation and continue to confer the degree of Master of Military Art and Science. CGSC has been accredited by the Commission since 1975.
As part of the process, the HLC invites third party/public comment from both the public and key stakeholders. In advance of the HLC visit to CGSC, the public and important stakeholders are invited to submit their comments by regular mail or online. – See the address/link options below.
Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. They go directly to HLC. Comments must be in writing, and submitted NLT Feb. 1, 2016.
