Kathy Beaham Smith, vice president for production at Faultless, provided the IOs with some background and history of the company and President Bill Wood talked about the factory process and the “green” imitative that Faultless maintains. He also explained that the company recycles as much as possible, including shipping non-recyclable items to another company that burns the waste to produce electricity. Finally, Scott Brown, Faultless’ General Counsel and a few other staff members took the IO’s on a tour of the factory.

The Faultless Starch/Bon Ami Company is a privately owned business whose principal enterprise is manufacturing and marketing laundry, household cleaning products, air care, and lawn and garden products, to consumer and commercial markets. The company headquarters, manufacturing plant, research laboratory, and distribution center are located in Kansas City, Mo. The Beaham family has led the company since its founding.

The Faultless leadership provided the 2017 class of international officers with this breakfast and tour as a way to welcome them to the greater Kansas City area and to provide some insights to how American companies work as part of their overall experience while in the country.
