Joint Planning and Development Office delivers presentation on interagency information sharing
In Washington, D.C. on January 24, Wanda Jones-Heath, Acting Director of the Net-Centric Operations Division (NCOD) for the Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO), gave a presentation on interagency information sharing.
The presentation, titled The Complexities of Interagency Information Sharing, stressed that successful data exchange will require a major cultural shift of the part of all involved agencies in order to remove information-sharing barriers. Jones-Heath also discussed the benefits of information sharing and the research that is needed to assure that information sharing networks are secure.
