This is a transcript of a Senate Ad Hoc Subcommittee on State, Local, and Private Sector Preparedness and Integration entitled “Medical Preparedness: Improving Coordination and Collaboration in the Delivery of Medical Assistance During Disasters.” It examined the National Disaster Medical System as a case study of federal medical response efforts, and sought to use this case study to address uncertainty in the disaster response/medical assistance system.
