A section from the InterAgency Journal explaining the newly released Joint Publication 3-08 Interorganizational Cooperation During Joint Operations. This document sets forth doctrine governing the activities of the U.S. Armed Forces for coordination of military operations with a wide variety of entities including U.S. government agencies; NGO; state, local, and tribal governments; INGOs, and the private sector. It seeks to enhance interorganizational coordination and facilitate cooperation between the military and any entity it may engage with.
