Interagency Education Summit Postponed

The Interagency Education Summit has been postponed to a later date due to changes in policy on conferences in the Department of the Army.  We regret any inconvenience this postponement may cause and we remain committed to interagency education and collaboration.  We will communicate the new summit dates as soon as we can.

The Simons Center will cohost the Interagency Education Summit with the CGSC Foundation and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, June 15-16, 2011, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  Attendance is by invitation only.

The purpose of the Summit is to bring together senior civilian and military officials engaged in interagency operations with corresponding senior representatives in key agencies responsible for providing interagency education and training.  The requirements for interagency coordination, both domestically and internationally, are constantly evolving. The Summit will provide participants an opportunity to see where interagency education and training has been, is headed, and how collaboration can enhance operational requirements.

The day and a half long program consists of expert speakers, panel presentations, and facilitated discussions designed to illustrate interagency operational requirements in the field and to showcase the range of interagency education and training programs currently available.
